I am a three part being
Spirit- Holy of Holies
Soul- Inner court
Body- Outer court
When I ask the Lord to show me more of Him, that He must increase, and
I must decrease.
I didn’t know what that really meant or where that would lead.
I didn’t know what it really meant to pick up your cross DAILY and
follow Me.
I didn’t really know what it meant to deny myself.
I didn’t really know what it meant not my will Lord, but Yours be done.
The Lord is spirit, and those that seek Him must worship and seek Him
in spirit and truth, or truly seek Him in the spirit.
The flesh has NO room, or should I say, there is no provision for the
flesh in the spirit realm.
We have all heard messages on what we have in Jesus, the power, the
peace, the prosperity, the head and not the tail, above and not
beneath. Yet, not many walk in those promises.
I have come to find out yet another reason why.
These promises are for the sons of God.
Those who do what the Father asks.
Why do you call me Lord, and do not the things I ask? Luke 6:46
Then again in Matthew 7:21 it says-
Not everyone that says to me Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom
of heaven; BUT HE THAT DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is heaven, (in
the spirit realm)
Until we die to our flesh, and the desires of it, we will be affected
by it, and ultimately be ruled by it.
For if you live after the flesh, you will die: but if you through the
Holy Spirit do mortify the works or deeds of the flesh, you will live.
Romans 8:13
So back to my statement, there is no room for the flesh in the spirit
realm.
Here is the key, one of many reasons we are not seeing the promises of
God manifest in our lives, is because we sow to the flesh and not to
the spirit.
I know you are saying a lot of things right now, but let’s examine
ourselves and our heart. Because we need to start in our own houses
with the true judgments of God.
We can say, and even affirm the promises we read in the word, but if
our heart isn’t right, you might as well recite humpty dumpty.
God judges the heart, not our intentions or our confession.
The question then arises, am I really sowing to the flesh, and if so
how?
Does anyone and I mean anyone fluff your feathers, and hold a
grudge?
Do you walk around the building at church because you see someone who
has offended you?
Do you throw a fit if you don’t get your way?
Does anybody for any reason bother you?
These are only a few of the hard questions that we can start asking
ourselves. Are we sowing to our flesh or are we sowing to the spirit?
If we will learn to rise above petty offenses and let it go, we then
are on our way to putting the flesh under, and then and only then will
we start to walk after the manner Jesus said for us to walk in, that
the world will know we are His disciples by your agape (love) for one
another. For your laid down life, for your servitude, you live for
each other.
To pick up our cross, stop.
What happens on a cross? Oh, that’s right our flesh is put to death.
Watch, Jesus came to show us the Father and not to do his own will,
but the will of Him who sent Him. John 6:38
The Holy Spirit came to show us Jesus and not to do His own will but
the will of Him who sent Him.
So that we will in turn, also lay down our desires and do the will of
Him who saved us.
Present yourselves as a holy sacrifice which is your reasonable
service. Romans 12:1
The body is in the outer court where all the flesh is put on the alter
and burned up.
The soul is in the inner court where we set ourselves apart in
sanctification and prayers.
Lastly, as the flesh is burned in the outer court, and the soul is
sanctified in the inner court we as the true high priests of the Lord
Most High, can enter into His presence to receive His words not
written on tablets of stone, but on the tablets of our heart. Into the
Holy of Holies where we can ask the Lord what is your will for me? I am
surrendered to your absolute goodness.
Thank you for your salvation, is there anything I can do for you.
You may be surprised to find He may only be looking for you to thank
Him for what He has and is doing in our lives.
My friend it is very important to rise up and not let the things and
schemes of the enemy rise up and sidetrack us from our calling we each
have in God through the already finished work of Jesus with the
infilling of God’s precious Holy Spirit.
Let’s step up and be counted not as Christians but as manifested sons
of the Most High, walking in our rightful place as servants to each
other, and the hordes of hell will tremble when we arrive on the
scene, because they know there is nothing they can do or say to get a
rise out of our flesh because we are already crucified with Christ,
nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me, so since we
are crucified with Him, we will also walk in the power of His
resurrection and enter into the fellowship of His sufferings being made
conformable to His death.
That even though we are sons, we will learn obedience by the things we
shall suffer.
James says count it all joy when you are tried, because it is trying
your faith which is more precious than gold.
Come up higher and deeper I hear the Lord say to us. He is there
waiting for us to rise up and be counted.
