Is there anybody out there like myself who knows in their heart…

Is there anybody out there like myself, who knows in their heart that
our Father really can and wants to supply our every need, whether your
need is money, peace, friendship or whatever it is, you just know that
He is more than able to meet that need?
Yet, we walk in lack and fear, oh my God! How in the world is this bill
or that bill going to get paid? How can we say we have this or that,
when it is obvious that we don’t.
Right here I do need to say, facts are subject to change, in fact it’s
a fact that they will but truth is not subject to change. Truth is
eternal. What was true yesterday is true tomorrow. What was a fact
yesterday may not be a fact tomorrow.
The reason we are not more victorious is because we walk by what we
see, and not by what we believe.
If you can see it, it is no longer faith. However, I told the Lord just
the other day, that is true, but I need money today in order to make
that bill.
There is a point where believing has to have a manifestation.
You know what though? Whether that bill gets paid or we are healed in
our bodies, that does not change the truth that our Father has nothing
but good thoughts for us. And even if, like the three Hebrew boys
said, if we go down burning, we will lift our hands up and praise You
anyway.
Oh my, ye of little faith.
I know that my prayer needs to be, Father forgive me for my unbelief,
and please Father have mercy on me. I can only stand if You hold me
up. I can only pray if you intercede. There is no good thing in this
body of mine. How can I honor you with my life, when my mind and body
are at war with the very person who I am, my inner man, my spirit man.
Oh how weak is my flesh.
Forgive me Lord and remove not your Spirit from me.

There is a place in the early evening where you can shake off the cares…

Filed under: Uncategorized — Frank Thompson @ 11:25 am

There is a place in the early evening where you can shake off the
cares that came at you today.
Just lay back and give your Father thanks that you are still in one
piece, breathing air, regardless of any report, test result, trial,
or persecution.
Greater is God’s love for us than any other event on earth.
I have found that to have this peace of thankfulness I need to clear
for myself any and all distractions that the world or others want to
throw at me.
In the past I used to come home from work, eat, shower, then turn on
the TV and veg out for the rest of the evening, get tired and go to
bed. I wondered why I wasn’t getting any closer to my God.
Than I read Psalms 103:7
God made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the children of Israel.
I desired to know the ways of God not just to read or even see his
acts. I really want to know the One who preformed the acts.
I’m now sure this desire is from the Holy Spirit, because all other
things in my life are becoming of no consequence. And all distractions
are becoming as water off my back because of this desire to see the
face of the Father.
I have since turned off my cable TVaAnd have started to read books
that are designed by God to teach me to get closer to Him.
It’s just been four days now and the results are staggering in my soul.
I looked at the clouds today at work and tears filled my eyes because
of the realization of God’s concern for me, overwhelmed me beyond words.
How so lax I’ve handled the gift of the Holy Spirit set in me as a
seal of my redemption.
How I have taken so lightly the vulgar abuse and sacrifice, God in
flesh took on my behalf.
How so casual I spent my time in front of the world’s vision and not
in front of the vision that the Father has for me.
How I have so selfishly thought only about my needs and not putting
the needs if even my wife’s above my own, let alone the needs of my
children and their need for a godly father to show and lead them on
the path they should go.
Now I have found that I can redeem my time and will, to bring God
glory. Redeem means to buy back.
I now spend time when I get home, I still eat, and spend time with my
wife and sons. I now spend time with my lovely Father, casting my
cares on Him, and just thanking Him for making it through another day
with Him.
Then I start to praise Him, just because.
I ask Him for His direction, peace, joy and righteousness in the Holy
Ghost.
I also ask for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, that I may not
only accomplish His will for my life, but also be able to foil the
plans the enemy has mounted against me and be able to walk through any
valley of shadows.
This, like I said, has only been four days beginning at dusk and goes
through until I sleep. Then, if He awakes me in the early morning
sometime, just to hang out, I say yes Lord here am I.
I just know that all my greatest desires and expectations will come to
pass as I desperately chase after the face of the One who loved me first.

Love works no ill toward his neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:10

Love works no ill towards his neighbor; therefore love is the
fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:10
Also in Romans 12:3 the Holy Spirit says through Paul, that we ought
not to think more highly of ourselves than we should.
In other words; don’t be high minded, but be lowly and sober about our
dealings with how we view ourselves.
Lift up others, more than lifting up of ourselves.
Be gracious, be kind, be patient, be forgiving, be hospitable. Lift up
others over your own needs and desires, and be like your heavenly
Father.
We are many members, doing all sorts of things to the glory of God to
fulfill His will and purposes on earth.
Just because somebody isn’t doing what YOU think they should, ease up,
maybe just maybe, they are doing what God wants them to do.
As Jesus did we need to do also. The judgment of Jesus was so kind
and great because; are you ready for this?
Look at Isaiah 11:3… And he shall not judge after the sight of his
eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears.
He didn’t and doesn’t go by what he sees or hears about others.
Our Father through His Spirit is well able to lead each of us on our
own path quite skillfully enough, without our intervention into other
peoples lives.
We need to believe that Gods got this, and we instead should be
lifting up each other in prayer that we don’t stumble and fall under
any temptation. Especially pray for those in the family of God.
Here’s something that may not sit well with the Jezebel spirit that is
alive and well in the body today.
Faithfulness to God is not measured by our service to men within the
four walls of a building. Let us not judge each other by our service
to men. Let us stay humble before God and men not thinking more highly
of ourselves than we ought.
Let us treat each other as a joint heir of God, with tender mercies,
believing God has each one of us on a path that will ultimately
glorify Himself.
Unless a brother or sister is involved in an open rebellion against
God, leave well enough alone.
Are there those within the body sleeping with other peoples spouses? Yes
Are there those within the body having hateful or lustful thoughts
about others? Yes
Are any of us without sin? No
Let’s remember its not our job to clean people up, its the Holy
Spirits’ job.
We need to walk out our own salvation daily with fear and trembling,
being cautious of our own walk, not the walk of others.
For those who are truly walking after Gods will for their own lives,
God is able to guide and lead them as well as clean them up through
His ways and timing.
There will be those who use the grace of God to sin and justify their
ways.
That is Gods business. We can draw them aside in absolute
humility and fear, to let them know what they are doing isn’t bringing
glory to God.
As it says in Galatians 6:1
Brothers if a man be overtaken in a fault, you which are spiritual,
restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering yourself
lest you be tempted also.
The reason they do this is because they don’t know who they are.
They are the beloved of the Most High.
They are Gods inheritance.
They are more precious to Him than any other thing in His creation.
We are His precious jewels.
We are His beloved.
We are his children.
We are His tender mercies.
We are His.

Giving and receiving from the Lord is not based on what we do…

Filed under: Uncategorized — Frank Thompson @ 1:34 pm

Giving and receiving from the Lord is not based on what we do, its
based on what He has already done and has provided us with, through
His Son Jesus.
Everything that we have need of has already been deposited on the
inside of us as an earnest, or down payment through His Holy Spirit of
our adoption, and salvation. We are heirs according to the Abrahamic
covenant.
The Abrahamic covenant was based on one thing and one thing only. He
heard from the Lord Most High, and trusted Him, that what He had
promised, He was well able to perform it. Faith and faith alone is
what it was founded on. Abraham heard from God and obeyed.
Faith is substance, it has mass, it is just as real in the spirit
realm, as say a tree is in this realm. Hebrews 11:1
When will we walk in that same kind of child like faith just to
believe that our Father in Heaven really just wants to hold us.
I realize why we don’t walk in unprecedented power and victory.
It is because we walk in fear.
Perfect love casts out all fear.
If we thought only on the truth of that statement, like Who is loving
who, we would get the victory.
Not mental accent, reading how God loves us;
but, knowing through prayer, and meditation. Psalms 103:7
That Moses knew God, but He showed His ways to the children of Israel.
We need a knowing, a God breathed knowledge of His love for us. It
needs to be so real that as we walk through our daily routine of life
we are constantly in fellowship with His Spirit, sensitive to His
will and it won’t matter what’s going on, or where we are, we will have
the confidence and assurance that He is and that He wouldn’t lead us
anywhere that would harm us.
We would than be able to cast out ALL fear because of the KNOWLEDGE of
His love for us would be greater than the fear.

Don’t be deceived; God is not to be made fun of…

Don’t be deceived; God is not to be made fun of: for whatsoever a man
sows, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7
The account of how God made the world and all that is in it, is
recorded in the first chapter of Genesis.
God, SAID, ten times at the beginning of each one of His works.
After He created the grasses, fish, birds, cattle and everything that
creeps on the earth. He SAID let everything bring forth seed after its
own kind. And He saw that it was good.
When God made man, instead of using the phrase, after their kind, He
SAID, after our likeness.
We are created to bear the fruit of our parent. And that fruit is to
have dominion with our words. Genesis 1:26
In dominion you have love and every other good work that hangs from it.
When we are walking in the same kind of dominion the Father has for
His creation, with the same passion and love, you won’t sin against
Him or your neighbor. You’ll only walk and talk as He does, in
dominion. Every word that proceeds out of your mouth, shall accomplish
that for which it was sent, and shall not return undone or void. But
it shall do which we please. Isaiah 55:11
No other of God’s created beings can speak, and their words come to
pass. No not one. Man only has this power. So in light of that, please
speak what you know to be right, and only that what you know the
Father would say about the matter.
