Being in Him (Jesus)

His presence

His love and compassion

His mercy and forgiveness

Is our destination;

Walking in the manifestation of

His (Jesus’) provision

is our inheritance.

Health, wealth, peace, power, love,

joy and righteousness in the Holy Ghost.

And this is the Victory, which overcomes the world, even our FAITH. 1 John 5:4

And this is the victory, which overcomes the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:4

Overcoming victory has its source rooted in conflict. Without

conflict, there wouldn’t be anything to overcome. And to overcome any

conflict it takes faith.

Very few times when Jesus walked with us did He intervene using His

own faith, though He did at times. Most of His healing the sick was

done according to their faith.

Some were healed right there on the spot, some were healed that very

same hour, and some were healed as they were walking away.

Nevertheless, Jesus would say to them, do you think (have faith) I am

able to do this. Then according to your faith be it unto you.

We are all given a measure of faith as people when we are born on this

planet. Because it takes faith to reach out to an unseen God to accept

His love.

Faith has substance, faith has value in the spirit realm. Faith is the

bridge which takes us to our hope. It is the substance of things hoped

for and evidence of things not seen. A lawyer will bring in evidence

to a court of law to make his case. We also have the same legal right

to our hope, that is the evidence in our heavenly court.

We can build that faith up a couple of ways.

Faith is like a muscle, you can work it and make it stronger by the

things you speak and say, and watch them come to pass. That is one way

to build your faith.

Another way, in the book of Jude, he says…building up your most holy

faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. That would be praying in an unknown

language.

1 Corinthians 14:4 Paul says…he that speaks in an unknown tongue,

edifies himself. Why do you suppose that is? Maybe according to Romans

8:26,27 Paul says…when we are praying in the Holy Ghost we are

praying God’s perfect will for our lives. That surely could and would

be edifying.

Yet another way comes by hearing the word of God taught to us, through

messages, reading, and praising. Romans 10:17

Now James states in his book chapter 2:17…even so faith, if it does

not have works with it, it is dead being alone, likewise works without

faith is dead also.

The faith James is speaking about isn’t the faith that is released at

first to get born again, its a more mature faith that comes through

time, working with God and developing it. It has corresponding action.

Faith is a verb, it shows action.

Why do you think when those men lowered their friend down through the

roof, the bible records…Jesus SAW their faith. They put action to

their belief, that if their friend, who had the palsy could get to

Jesus, he would be healed. And he was. Please remember to get a man

onto the roof top, on a bed, then rip through the tiles, to get him

into a position, to lower him in front of Jesus, took a lot of effort,

but they had faith which led them to their determined hope.

How bad do we want it?

How much effort are we willing to expend?

How long will we stand on the promises of God, not wavering through

unbelief?

But are strong in faith, which gives glory to God. Romans 4:20,21

When are we just going to believe God at His word?

When are we going to realize that Gods thoughts and plans for us are

absolutely unchanging, ever good towards us, and not bad? Jeremiah

29:11

He really is a rewarded of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

We must realize, that when we pray, is when we receive, not when we

see it.

Because if we don’t see a manifestation of our faith through our

prayers, the evil one tries to come in our thoughts and cause us to

question and doubt God. Has God really said?

The evil one wants our faith, not our stuff. If he can either steal or

deceive us from our faith, he knows that, that doesn’t please God.

Be encouraged though, that all things (even our mistakes) work

together for good to them that love God. Romans 8:28

God framed the worlds by His words through faith.

He spoke, it was.

God says about His faith in Isaiah 55:11…so shall my words be that

go forth out of my mouth, it shall not come back to me empty, but it

shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the

thing where I sent it.

You see God isn’t saying in His heart, I sure hope it will do what I

say. No, he said, it will do that which I say.

Likewise, we speak, it is.

Life and death are in the power of the tongue, you will have the fruit

of it. Proverbs 18:21

We shall have whatever we say. Mark 11:23

Weather we speak positive about ourselves and our circumstances or

negative, we will have whatever we say.

So we must consider the thoughts and meditations of our heart and

mind. Guard with great consideration what goes into our heart, ears

and eyes. Like what we may watch on TV or listen to on the radio. How

about the music we listen to? If anything comes into our mind that

would draw us away from God or His ways, cast them down, and think on

good things. Philippians 4:8

Because out of the abundance of our heart the mouth speaks. We only

want to speak what either God or ourselves have said about a matter in

faith believing what God has promised.  He is faithful and just to

perform it. Romans 4:21

This thing called faith isn’t something we try. It is, and that’s that.

Either we believe or we don’t.

There is a battle that will ensue during the coming days.

There is a battle that will ensue in the coming days. It may only be

a battle in the spirit realm.  It may, however, cross over into the natural

realm.  It’s a battle that will shake most of us to the core.  It is one

that will make us all sit and count the cost of our continual following

of the Lord Jesus.  If, by chance, we look to our job, our stocks,

even our own reputations, ministries and careers we will suffer loss.

But if we set out thoughts and motives on the things that are eternal,

things that are above, and not the things that are of this temporary world

(Colossians 3:2), we will have a better chance to survive the coming days.  Yes, and SURVIVEis what I mean.

I was hearing from the Lord one day, and during the conversation, I asked Him if that was where my provision was.  He said, “No.  I am your provision.”

There is a place where we need to be, or get to, where we hunger for the Person of Jesus.  Not His power or His anointing.  Just His presence.  Just to hang out and thank Him for being our friend and our savior.  These are the ones He will pour out His Spirit on.  Those who just want to be near Him.  Because, in the coming turmoil, it will be the ones who KNOW Him that will not be shaken.  The ones whose eyes are on Him and Him alone.

Alright, you are asking, how do we keep our eyes on Him and Him alone?  First, examine your daily routine.  Is it God first, (Matthew 6:33), or is it the TV?   Do you get in your car to go to work and turn on the news?   Because we all know that every good Babylonian needs to be

informed on the world’s current events.  Can I ask a question here?  Why?  We are not the earth shakers and policy makers.  We are the ones whose lives mean something only to the ones we know.  Does it really matter what is going on around the world or even in our own country?  We can only effect the ones around us.  Here is another question.   When you heard about the government bailout of the mortgage industry, was there anything you could do about it?  No, I bet most of us just complained about it.  If we are not tuned in to the world’s system, when the world quakes, it won’t effect us, because we are tuned in to an eternal system that is not effected by what is going on in this time frame.  God’s plan for us still remains the same.

He is not moved by who is in the presidency at this current hour, or who or where we are fighting for whatever reason.  His plan for mankind still moves on and will be accomplished.

OK, back to the question at hand. I used to be one of those people who would get up right before I needed to get into the car and go to work.  I would pray some little prayer, thank you for this day and please guide me.  And, that would be it, turn on the radio and drive in.  To tell you the truth, I was deceived.  I thought I had a relationship with the Lord, until I thought about when the last time was that I was so grateful just to be alive, and that I wasn’t going to be damned forever if I died, that it brought tears to my eyes.  I then realized I might not be so great

after all.  This is what we are supposed to do daily, examine our time that we spend or don’t spend with God.  Are our thoughts on those around us; those who we do know, who we could help, even if just in a small way?  Are our thoughts on the eternal things, or are they most of the time only on what is going on in our own lives?  How am I going to pay the rent?  How are we going to do this or that?

What do you spend your waking hours doing?  Aside from work, what do you think on all day long?  Where are your plans and thoughts?  Are they on the things of this world or are they on the things of God and trying to bring people somehow closer to Him?  (Romans 8:5)  I would like to re-emphasize that we need to examine how we spend our free time and thoughts.  There is a time coming, and it may even be now, that those things that we are used to may no longer be available.  What if you can’t go to the grocery store, drive your car anywhere, do the things we take for granted?  Are you going to crumble, or are you going to ask your Comforter what to do?  Well, you can’t expect to have a clear answer if you don’t currently spend time with Him.

In Proverbs, Wisdom says if we are simple, cry out to her, more than for money and she will give us knowledge and understanding.  However; if we don’t, she says that in the day of our calamity she will not hear or rescue us.  (Proverbs1:24-33)

Personally, I don’t want that to be me or my house.  So, I would say for the up and coming world turmoil, we need not to spend time in front of the world’s vision, but spend time in front of the Father to know His vision.  He will never leave us or forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5)

Even if I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, You are with me. (Psalm 23:4)

Seek the Lord while He may be found. (Isaiah 55:6)

Turn off the TV and radio and turn to the Lord with all of your thoughts and He shall keep you and guard you, even until the great and terrible day of the Lord. (2 Thessalonians 3:3, Joel 2:31)

There is a proverb that says;

Filed under: Uncategorized — Frank Thompson @ 9:30 am

There is a proverb that says;

Give a man a fish, and he shall eat for a day.

Teach a man to fish, and he will eat for life.

In the word of God there is another proverb, in Proverbs 13:22,

that states;

A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children…

or it could say

Give your son a dollar and he will eat for a day.

Give your son the gift of life to trust in the Lord with all that is

within him and he shall eat for generations.

Wealth is part of the inheritance, but not all of it, to have the

person of Wisdom, or you could say the person of Jesus, is to have

all the wealth of Heaven and Earth at your disposal.

There are times in a man’s life where money isn’t what he needs.

Peace and joy are at times more valuable than money. Wisdom and

direction are more valuable than money also.

What are your needs?

Ask the Lord for he is willing and well able to supply any need

you may have.

Only don’t speak against it; don’t say ANYTHING contrary to what your

faith said about it. Regardless of how long it takes, or how you feel or

what it looks like.

Remember, we being evil, when our children ask for bread, we don’t give

them a rock. Well, God being Holy won’t either.

It’s the principalities in the heavenlies at war with your angels

holding up the answer, to see if through time you change your

confession on the matter.

Stand strong and in the power of His might, so you can stand during

the day or days of adversity.

In the Word of the Living God it states in Proverbs 25:2

In the Word of the Living God it states in Proverbs 25:2

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is

to search out a matter.

And again in Revelation 1:6 it says,

He has made us kings and priests unto God and His Father.

In 1Corinthians 6:19 the Word says,

What? Know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost

which is in you.

The Temple of Solomon and the Tabernacle of Moses were built for one

specific reason.

To house the Ark of the Covenant, which is where God had His Earthly

throne.

God the Father sat on the mercy seat between the wings of the two

cherubim.

To the children of Israel in the wilderness He was a pillar of fire by

night, (providing light and heat) and a cloud by day (providing shade

and coolness).

Also inside the Ark were articles of great importance to the Lord.

Articles that were to be a reminder of His covenant with His people.

Hebrews 9:4

First was the two tablets of stone that had the Ten Commandments on them.

Second was the rod of Aaron that budded.

Last was the pot of manna for all generations to see what the Lord had

provided for them in the wilderness.

Now the Lord had instructed Moses to build an ark made from shittim

wood and over lay it within and without in pure gold.

The wood used to make the ark is from the family of Acacia wood, it

was Shittim wood which had on it thorns which caused great pain, and

was used as a scourge.

This is definitely a foretelling of the abuse that the pure overlaid

gold would have to endure for us. It was what the very throne of God

was made from as its base and foundation, thorns and scourgings.

That could be why it had as its seat, a seat of mercy, knowing what

was at its  base.

Also the acacia wood was a symbol of man overlaid in God Himself.

The Lord placed inside the ark the rod of Aaron as a testimony that

God had made him the priest as an everlasting service.

And then the manna which He Himself feed the people.

All this has a modern day message for us to walk in.

Everything in this temporal and seen world, was and has been made as a

pattern from the parent world of the spirit. Hebrews11:3

We are the now temple of the Holy Spirit. We have housed in us the

appointed priesthood, the bread from heaven, and the law of God not

written on tablets of stone, but written on the tablets of our hearts.

Hebrews 8:10

We are the living and breathing house of the living God. Everything

that He has for us is in us. He didn’t come with just a few of His

resources and a few of His gifts and power. He is residing in the

fullness of all heaven and earth right on the inside. 2 Peter 1:3

Walk you now in the realization that we are the righteousness of God

in Christ. Or that we are now in right standing with the creator of

heaven and earth. Not because of what we have done but because of what

Jesus did for us, what we couldn’t do for ourselves.  Philippians 3:9

So if there is any thought in your mind, I can’t come to God, I’m

dirty and I have done, and am doing a lot of bad stuff. Put it out

from your head.

Everybody quotes John 3:16.

But hardly anyone quotes John 3:17

For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn them; but that

through Him the world might be saved.

And also in 2 Corinthians 5:19 it says, To wit, that God was in Jesus,

reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing or not bringing up their

sins, but was bringing the world back to Himself.

So please don’t listen to any thoughts of condemnation or even God

forbid any Christian or church that says you need to do this or that

to be right with God. Only call upon the name that is above every

name, Jesus, and you shall be saved. Which means you are now in right

standing with the Creator of heaven and earth, and you now have the

power to walk in your God designed destiny.
