Very Big Deal

 

Luke 10:19

Behold ( observe , pay attention , listen to what I am about to tell you ),

I ( Jesus )

- Hebrews 1:3 who being the brightness of His ( Fathers ) glory, and the express

image of His ( Fathers ) person.

- the same word translated in Hebrews 11:1 substance  is the same word

translated in Hebrews 1:3 person.

- Therefore the person of Jesus is our substance.

Give you ( who ) me the authority

( power, ability, power of attorney ) to trample on serpents and scorpions, and

over all the power of the enemy, and , say ( and ) nothing shall by any means

harm you. 

Romans 8:38,39

For I am persuaded ( convinced beyond any doubt ) that neither death nor life,

nor angels nor principalities, nor powers nor things present nor things to come,

nor height nor depth nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us

from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Now since we are to walk by faith…

Now since we are to walk by faith and not by how our circumstances appear.

- because it is impossible to please God without faith. Hebrews 11:6

I wanted to show all of us an account of faith that is quite remarkable ( in my

mind anyway ) 

Joshua 6:1,2

Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went

out, and non went in.

And the Lord said to Joshua “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king

and mighty men of valor.

Keep in mind that the people of Jericho witnessed the children of Israel

crossing the swollen river Jordan on dry ground.

Remember the Bible records the river to be over its banks during the time of the

harvest.

Then once on the other side of the Jordan, Joshua heard the voice of the Lord

saying make for yourselves sharp knives and circumcise again the children of Israel.

Now let’s keep in mind that the army of the Lord is now on enemy soil.

And the Lord now wants them to have an operation on the enemies side of the river.

I think it might be important to note that what was going on inside the tents of

the men of war of Israel.  They were not aware of what was going on inside the

city walls of Jericho. As far as they knew they were in there preparing for war

and here we are laid out and  wounded by our own hand. Do you think any of them

had thoughts of doubt, concern that maybe their leader was a little coo-coo?

Anyway like I said the warriors did not know that because of the waters

collecting in a heap and the children passed over on dry land that all the

people inside the city, the Bible says that their hearts had melted, neither was

there spirit in them anymore. Joshua 5:1

Then on top of that the Lord came to Joshua ( physically and in person ) about

their new battle plan.

- First He said see with the eye of faith I have given you the city

- Next He said I have given you their warriors

- Then He told them all the men of war will compass the city and go around it

once for six days.

- and seven priests with seven trumpets of rams horns shall accompany the men of

war

- then on the seventh day you shall compass the city seven times and on the

seventh time you shall shout with a loud shout and the wall will fall down flat.

And it came to pass as the Lord commanded.

My word shall accomplish that to which I send it.

God the Father made on planet earth a paradise…

God the Father made on the planet earth a garden of paradise and He called it

Eden. It was to show the first man Adam what God had for him. He showed the

first man a piece of heaven as a template for him to go by and from that chief

building block God sat back to see what the man would do with it.

You see God did not give to any other of His creations the ability to create

with their words. That power was reserved for God Himself.

Then in the fullness of time. Or in other words after the time of fulfillment

for the body of Jesus to be ready for manifestation through mortal men.

Jesus came again to reestablish the template available through the Father once

again for mankind. Why? Because of the love the Father has towards us.

As I have said before, no other of God’s creation did He give them the power to

create by their words.

Why do you think when the disciples would cry out in fear or unbelief Jesus

would say to them how much longer will I be with you.

In other words listen here boys you’re going to have to get this creative word

thing down because my time here with you is short.

 

God the Father sees us in the risen Son.

Ephesians 2:6,7; …and has raised us up.

- who has raised us?

- God the Father

together and made us

- was not a request

- not an option

but made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Weather we like it or not, or weather we can accept it or not. Part of our

inheritance as the sons of the Most High ( Psalms 82:6 ) is that we are seated

together in the heavenlies in Christ by His mercy and grace. It is a part of our

birthright into His kingdom.

Not by anything we did but by the complete work of God through Jesus

reconciling us back to Himself.

Colossians 3:3 states that we died, and our life is hidden with Christ in God.

We are sitting together.

- seated

- signifying rest

Jesus has done everything that He needed to do to

- redeem us

- restore us

- give us back our authority

- give us back our rights

He is seated, the work is done. He even said it is finished.

Unlike the priests under the old covenant who had to stand ( signifying works )

daily at the alter to first bring sacrifices for his sins and then for the sins

of the people.

We have a more perfect covenant through Jesus who once and for all time removed

our sins, past, present and future sins.

1 John 4:17 says

Because as He is

- seated at the right hand of God

- in peace

- health

- rest

- prosperity

So are we in this world.

In the next world?

No! Now in this world.

Why do you think that is?

Verse 7 of Ephesians 2 says

That in the ages to come He ( God the Father ) might show the exceeding riches

of His grace in His kindness towards us through Christ Jesus.

Why yes, because a righteous God requires a sacrifice for sins. We can not stand

before a Holy God without the complete work of sin removal by Jesus.

And also we are Gods heirs and joint heirs with Christ. Romans 8:17

Jesus is the first born from among many brothers. Romans 8:29

Jesus was the seed sown. We are His harvest.

In verse 7 of Ephesians 2 are two Greek words, the first is riches;

- ploo’-tos

Which means

- wealth as fullness ie:

- literally money

- possessions

- or figuratively

- abundance

- riches

- specifically valuable bestowment

The other word is show.

It is a cross between two other Greek words that mean

- to show

- a position

- a relation of rest

Why do you think the Holy Spirit is driving this point home?

Because we are to walk as more than conquerors in Him.

Everything has been done for us.

We are hidden in Him.

When we pray

- God hears us and listens

Why?

When we pray, He turns His head to the right and sees the completed work of His

risen Son. Where we are.

IT IS FINISHED !!!!

Whatever the reason…large crowds gathered around Jesus.

- either because of

- the signs and miracles

- the healings

- the words of wisdom

- or out and out thirst for righteousness

- but they did gather

The religious leaders of that time and now

- did and do not receive Him

- did not understand Him

- sought to quite Him

- sought to kill Him

- were jealous of Him

- lovers of men

- not lovers of God

- worshipped God with their mouths not their hearts.

Jesus walked with

- sick people

- unrighteous people

- sinners

- drunks

- whores

- whore mongers

- liars

- cheaters

- worldly people

- lovers of self

- idolaters

Religious folks He rebuked

- because they

- live by the letter of the law

- not the spirit of the law

- they forgot to do the weightier matters

- love

- compassion

- charity

Jesus spoke and it was so

He

- calmed storms

- turned water into wine

- healed all who were sick

- taught the spirit of the law

- cast out devils

- walked on water

- gave thanks and fed thousands

When He had the power to call ten thousand angels to help Him. He went to the

slaughter without a word.

God said and it was so.

He was giving us another example to create with our words.

Isaiah 55:11

So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me

void. But shall accomplish what I please. And it shall proper in the thing for

which I sent it.

So by Jesus’ example of

- how He walked

- where He walked

- with whom He walked with

- what He said

- how He said it

- to whom He said it

Ought to be the way we speak and walk

And have the same results.

We must get our minds around

- who we are

- what has been given to us

- why was it given

No condemnation to those who are in Christ…

 

Now therefore there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who

do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1

Why is there condemnation?

The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.

1 Corinthians 15:56

Whenever you disobey one of the laws of God the enemy is there to accuse you.

Remember the enemy is the accuser of the brothers.

What do you think he accuses you of?

Why he accuses you continually of what you haven’t done right, how you have

violated this law or that law from Gods word. Where you have missed it

concerning the things of God.

1Corintians 15:56 says that the sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin

Is the law.

Let’s read it backwards, maybe we can get a better light of the word.

The law produces the strength of sin, and sin produces death.

Paul says in Romans 7:7; I would not have known sin except through the law.

So the condemnation comes from not obeying the law, which turns to guilt, which

then turns to condemnation, condemnation into sin, which turns into death,

which turns to guilt. Do you get the picture?

Its a tread mill the enemy wants to keep us on.

However the Word of God states there is NOW no condemnation for those who are

In Christ.

How come there now no condemnation?

Colossians 2:14 says

Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements ( law ) that was against us,

which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it

to the cross. Nailed what to the cross?

The law of sin and death.

Having disarmed

- to take away something

- authority

- power

- rights

principalities and powers

He ( Jesus ) made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

- in what

The cross

That devise that the devil meant for harm and evil

Was the devise that God the Father used to reconcile us back to Himself

- and pour out His mercy and grace on us through Jesus.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Your Kingdom come

 

 What is a kingdom?

- a place of ruling

- an established set of boundaries

- a place of safety and protection

- an office

- a place of honor

- a place of provisions

- a kings way of doing a thing. 

Jesus ( the word became flesh ) said

” it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the ( His ) kingdom ” Luke 12:32

He also said in Luke 17:21 that the kingdom of heaven is in you.

And if we are children, then heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ Jesus, or

joint heirs with the anointing to do a thing. Romans 8:17

Your will be done

- your way of doing things

- your way of health

- your way of life

- your way of forgiveness

- your way of prosperity

- your way of living

- your way of speaking

- your way of loving

How you call those things that be not, as though they are. Romans 4:17

God the Father said,

In Isaiah 45:11

- and concerning the works of My hands

- you command Me

Also in Genesis 1:26

- He made man to have dominion over all that God had created.

Again in Psalms 82:6

- He ( God ) said

- you are gods

- and all of you children of the Most High

We were supposed to be the god of this world, not satan.

God has no problem with us commanding the things of this planet as if we were

the god ( ruler ) of this planet.

He is not concerned that we will rise up and take over His Throne. It couldn’t

be done anyway even if we tried.  His desire is that as we walk and act like

Him, we will bring Him honor in the heavenlies.

Ephesians 3:10

Also in Psalms 8:6

God made us a little lower than Himself.

The translators were scared to use the word God, so they used the term angels;

when the Hebrew word is Elohim which is the plural form of one of the names of God.

Here will be a bold statement that may be misconstued in the wrong way. It is

not my intent to usurp God’s authority

in any way. My only reason for life and breath and deeds is to bring the Father

glory in my life.

Here goes, concerning the works of Gods hands here on earth we are in a sense equal to God.

In order to have authority on this planet, whether God or the enemy, they have to

work through one who has an earth certificate; be it a man, donkey or snake,

you

must be born on this planet.

In earth as it is in heaven.

God the Father wants His will or the way He does things and life to be on earth

as it is in heaven.

If we don’t know

If we don’t know

- who we are

- what we are entitled to

- how we can walk

- what is Gods purpose for us

Then the one who deceitfully stole our inheritance from our brother, will go on

and on doing what he wants with our stuff.

But once we get a hold of

- what our big brother Jesus did to regain our inheritance

- then we will take our stuff back

- walk without condemnation

- be without sickness or lack

- help all manner of men

- with all manner of sicknesses

- lack

- caused by a violent &

- hateful thief

We are sons of adoption who cry out Abba Father Romans 8:15

- sons rule their fathers estates

- not servants

Matthew 12:29

- or else

- how can one enter

- into a strong mans house

- and spoil his goods

- except he first

- bind him

- then you can spoil his house and goods

Matthew 11:12

From the days of John the baptist until now ( not before ) the kingdom of heaven

- Gods realm

- Gods ways

- Gods provisions

Suffers violence

- the devil isn’t going to just give up his man given authority without a fight

- even if by deception

- his nonetheless

However Jesus

- through His life

- through His death ( violent death )

- through His ressurection

Took back by force

- our God given

- rights

- health

- wealth

- dominion

- power

- peace

- love

And the violent take it back by force

- those who are going to call those things that be not

- as though they are

Stagger not at the promises of God through unbelief

- but being strong in faith ( Gods ablility do to a thing )

- being fully persuaded

- that what He ( God ) promised

- that He ( God )

- is also able to perform it
